Rover 20a not recieving voltage

Having a problem with my Rover 20a CC.

2x100w mono panels wired in parallel, into Rover 20a CC, into 12v 105ah AGM deep cycle battery.

Everything was installed in the proper order, with the battery being connected before the panels.

However, after a few days the "moon" symbol appeared during clear sunny conditions. Using a multi meter, I found the panels were producing as they should, with voltage appearing at each panel, at the couplers, and at the end of the cables at the controller, but no voltage registered when I checked at the terminals. I checked the polarity at all points, and the pos/neg are lined up correctly.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

  • @Charles,

It sounds like there is some kind of connectivity issue. Please try reconnecting the PV input at the controller and confirm that the stranded wire is making contact with the screw terminals. If that does not work, please reach out to our Tech Support team and they will be able to further troubleshoot your system.

    Thank you,
